Welcoming Ian Kimbrell as VP of Sales at RAP

We are thrilled to welcome Ian Kimbrell as the new Vice President of Sales at Rapid Acceleration Partners.

A journey shaped by experience

Ian’s career spans more than 25 years in the industry, covering roles that bridge engineering, sales, and business growth. From technical foundations in CAD/CAM systems to executive responsibilities at PDSVISION, he has cultivated a rare mix of technical depth and commercial acumen.

Along the way, he has been part of industry dialogues on how AI can help manufacturers compete smarter in the aftermarket and improve service response times, conversations that echo the challenges many of our clients face.

What makes Ian’s journey stand out is the breadth of his perspective. He understands the realities of engineering teams, the urgency of sales organizations, and the complexity of executive decision-making. This balance will be key as RAP continues to shape solutions that meet the needs of enterprises at every level.

When perspectives align

At RAP, we’ve seen how manufacturers struggle with hidden inefficiencies: parts chaos, supplier delays, obsolete inventory, order gridlock, and siloed systems that slow everything down.

Our AI-led hyperautomation platform addresses these realities, automating complex workflows, orchestrating data across ERP and PLM systems, and enabling manufacturers to adapt faster.

Ian’s focus on manufacturing will strengthen our ability to meet these needs. His perspective, built on years of working with OEMs and component manufacturers, will help us connect our platform’s capabilities with the very real pain points of the industry.

It also ensures our growth stays close to what matters most: creating measurable improvements in efficiency, resilience, and competitiveness for manufacturers worldwide.

Building what comes next

With Ian leading sales, we’re better positioned to help enterprises adopt AI not as a buzzword but as a working part of their operations. Together, we aim to make manufacturing processes smarter, more responsive, and ready for growth.

This also reflects RAP’s continued investment in combining domain expertise with technology leadership. By bringing in leaders who understand the challenges of manufacturing, we strengthen our ability to deliver AI solutions that are practical, scalable, and built for the future.
